Dear Parents,
The Halloween Party in Mrs. Nelson Linck's room is just around the corner! The class party will be held on Monday, October 31st. There is a school parade in the gym from 1:45 - 2:00 p.m. Once that is concluded, the children will return to the classroom for their party which runs from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. I am asking for your help to make the party a success. We will need volunteers to help in the room with games/crafts and could also use goody bag prize donations. If you are interested in helping at the party, please feel free to e-mail (spree.family@yahoo.com) or call (843-9835). If you are able to donate goody bag prizes, please label them "Halloween Party" and send them to Mrs. Nelson Linck; she will accumulate donations for the party in her room. The PTO suggested having non-food items for goody bag prizes since all food/candy must be approved by the school nurse. Some suggestions the PTO gave for prizes were stickers, pencils, erasers, rings, bracelets, glow sticks, gel pens, etc. In addition, our class can't have any snacks with nuts or nut oils due to allergies. For the class snack I thought about having Krispy Kreme donuts and apple slices since both are nut free. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact me.
