1st Quarter progress report

Your Kindergartner will be bringing home a 1st quarter progress report. The information at the top of the form reports on your child's Character Development. This is information very similar
to what you receive in our Roar reports. The areas listed will appear on our report card. If an area is checked, please address it with your child. The bottom of the progress report form addresses Reading and Writing skills and Math skills. Again, if an area is checked it means your child can use some extra support at home in practicing this skill.
You will hear me repeat throughout the year, "No one fails Kindergarten, children are always working on learning and improving skills." Children come to school with different agendas, some need more academic skills, some need more social skills, some need to learn how to be a member of a group and the list goes on. Reports, in all their many forms are to help your child have the most successful learning experience they possibly can.
