Helpful Hints for Santa's Helper

Here are a few ideas for your Kindergartner that you may not have thought of. Kindergartners love puzzles, blocks, small cars, fire trucks, dinosaurs and things to create with. Consider putting together an art box for your child, scissors, glue, markers, crayons, stickers, and special paper.
Your children still enjoy playing with clay and play dough. Books are always welcomed gifts as well as chalk boards and easels and writing journals.

play dough
clay
tinker toys
leggos
All of the above come highly recommended from the school occupational therapists for development of fine motor skills.
Provide your child with toys that allow them the think, interact and have creative play as opposed to toys that do it all for your child.
Santa will appreciate your helping hands!
