Mastodon State Park fieldtrip

Our recent field trip to Mastodon state park was a fact filled afternoon for Kindergartners. Kindergartners found most interesting the fact that these creatures lived so very close to us. Visitors watched a short video, had hands on experiences with skulls, tools and furs and viewed artifacts in the museum. This was a great follow up trip to our recent dinosaur unit.
